EIGHT MILES HIGH: A TRIBUTE TO GENE CLARK
A night of live music and film celebrating the life of musician Gene Clark of The Byrds.
Live music at 7pm featuring Jeff Beam & Friends, Dominic & The Lucid and Chicken Wire.
Followed by a screening of The Byrd Who Flew Alone a feature length film exploring the life and work of Gene Clark - singer-songwriter and founding member of The Byrds, one of the 60's most influential and iconic bands. This documentary was made with the support and involvement of Gene's family, as well as a whole host of friends and fellow musicians. Interviews with the three surviving original Byrds - David Crosby, Chris Hillman and Roger McGuinn offer an authentic insight into Clark's career.
