Too Marvelous for Words: The Johnny Mercer Songbook
In his lifetime, Johnny Mercer wrote the music or lyrics to roughly 1,500 songs. Marked by a sophisticated, occasionally whimsical mastery of language and rhymes, many of his songs have become standards. Broadway and television performer Linda Purl and recording artist Lee Lessack bring his songs to Port Ludlow in a tribute to Mercer's legacy--with memorable music and heartwarming stories of Mercer's life.
