A musical delight for the whole family. Quilters tells the story of a family of pioneer women as they are working on a series of quilt blocks that reflect their history and experiences. Both funny and touching, a pure patriotic view of woman's roles on the American frontier. Book by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek, music and lyrics by Barbara Damashek. Premiered on Broadway in 1984. Directed by Linda Dunn, musical direction by Gloria Wood.
