| | EventMARK ERELLIMark Erelli was finishing a graduate degree when his eponymous debut CD was released in 1999. Thousands of musical miles later, Mark Erelli now travels his own road that both embodies and challenges our expectations of a singer/songwriter.

Erelli has tackled everything from western swing and protest songs to lullabies and murder ballads, all in a richly expressive voice that Twangville.com heralds as "the male counterpart to Neko Case." His musical journey has taken him from church basement coffeehouses to the main stage of the Newport Folk Festival, stopping briefly along the way to sing the national anthem at Fenway Park.

Mark is also a frequent musical collaborator who has played on stage and made recordings with many performers, including appearing at the Grand Ole Opry with Allison Krauss. He also is part the bluegrass band Barnstar!, with Jake Armerding.  Mark's newest CD, Milltowns, is a tribute to the late singer-songwriter Bill Morrissey.
