Valerie Wood in Concert
Nashville's own singer-songwriter Valerie Wood returns to her hometown stage on May 16th. Valerie is thrilled to return to her roots in Nashville. Valerie graduated from Northern Nash Senior High in 1998. Under the theatrical, choral and band tutelage of Paul Orsett and Robert Blice, she was voted her senior year's "Most Talented Female." Valerie studied voice with Patsy Gilliland, who directs the Children's Chorus of Rocky Mount. Valerie has been entertaining as a full-time vocal professional for the past seven years in various bands, including a bluegrass duo, a rock n' roll band front woman, an original Americana trio and currently a jazz standards duo and solo folk act. Please welcome Valerie back to the sanctuary for a night of soul-elating, toe-tapping music.
