4:00 p.m.
In a joint concert, Aurora Chorus and Con Brio Women's Choir explore the images and metaphors of flow, energy, journeys, dreams--the river of life itself. We'll inspire and enliven you, from Afro Cuban rhythms to traditional and contemporary American gospel and folk, and, of course, the stirring "Let the River Run," our title piece.
Aurora is excited to welcome guest director Kathleen Hollingsworth, leading Aurora in our final concert of the season, and our special guests Con Brio, from the Seattle area, led by Dori Baunsgard. The two choruses will perform separate sets, as well as sharing the stage for the finale.
All tickets are for open (non-reserved) seats.
Tickets can be mailed to you at no charge or held in Will Call for pickup.
For questions about tickets you have ordered, please email admin@aurorachorus.org, or leave a message at 503-287-6721. We will be happy to assist you.
Arts for All tickets are available for patrons with SNAP cards. For more information, call 503-287-6721. Limit 2 tickets per card.
Since 1992, Aurora Chorus has honored the strength and beauty of women's lives through the fine art of choral singing. Aurora was founded on the belief that music can be a powerful instrument of peace--locally, globally, and in the hearts of all who sing and all who listen.
Formed in 1998, Con Brio Women's Choir, a member of the Columbia Choirs of Metropolitan Seattle family of choirs, is an auditioned, community-based choir. Con Brio blends fun and focus as choir members develop their musicality, prepare repertoire to perform throughout the year, and form lasting bonds with one another.
