Handel Extravaganza: The Royal Handel
Staunton Music Festival concludes its Summer Sounds programs with a festival selection of arias, choruses, overtures, and suites from Messiah, Water Music, Alcina and more. Carsten Schmidt leads a cast of acclaimed vocalists and the period-instrument ensemble SMF Baroque Players. Performed at the stunning Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, home of the American Shakespeare Center and the world's only recreation of Shakespeare's indoor theater.
