Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter. Book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Linsey and Russel Crouse. This is an amusing love story wrapped around one of Cole Porter's magical scores. The entire action takes place aboard the "S.S. American" sailing from New York to England. Among the passengers are the beautiful American Heiress Hope Harcourt, ex-evangelist Reno Sweeney, Billy Crocker who is "a broken-down broker" and Public Enemy Number 13, Moonface Martin. Together it promises to be an exciting voyage.
