Nichole Canuso Dance Company collaborates with Philadelphia-based band The Mural and The Mint on a visual exploration of the band's new album, available for free download at www.themuralandthemint.com. Fresh off their five-show run at HERE Arts Center in SoHo, the two ensembles bring their work back home to Philadelphia. In these intimate performances, they fuse abstract dance and lyrical chamber pop. As the Eyes of the Seahorse is an innovative live performance that melds distinctive and expressive indie-rock sounds with immersive choreography. Dancers and musicians continuously interact as action and music from guitars to bike wheels to mason jars collide. Alternating between intimate and epic, a surprising journey awaits in this idiosyncratic and layered theatrical experience.
