Music Salon @ the cell: Joao Luiz & Trio Virado
Critically acclaimed Brazilian guitarist Joao Luiz performs works from renowned composers including John Dowland "Larchrimae Paven," Joaquin Malats "Serenata Espanola," Jaoquin Rodrigo "Fandango" and Leo Brouwer "La ciudad de las Columnas." After intermission, Joao is joined by Jen-Hsuan Liao (viola) and Min Hee Kim (flute) for a concert featuring works from Hispanic composers including Leo Brouwer "Paisagens, Retratos y Mujeres," Sergio Assad "Menino," and Astor Piazzolla "Three Tangos" (arranged by Joao Luiz).
