Lumière - the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque Premiere event
The Cinematheque's first event in its new home will be on Saturday, August 1, from 7 to 10 pm. "Lumiére" will be a sparkling grand opening event and the first in the Spectrum CIA 2015 series of events to celebrate the transformation of CIA and our campus. "Lumiére" --the French word for "light" evokes Auguste and Louis Lumiére, pioneering filmmaking brothers who shot and publicly exhibited history's first motion picture in 1895.
