conservatism, homophobia, greed, lust and fear? After an
evening with singer-songwriter-satirist Roy Zimmerman
(think Tom Lehrer fused with Al Franken), youâll know.
Zimmerman has been writing satirical folk songs for twenty
years, inspiring Joni Mitchell to say, "Roy's lyrics move
beyond poetry and achieve perfection." The Swami
Beyondananda (comic Steve Baehrman), is known as the âKing
of Karmic comedyâ and the âClown Prince of New Age
punsterism. His books include âWhen You See a Sacred Cow,
Milk it For All Itâs Worth,â and âDuck Soup for the Soul.â
