LA Phil Live: Tchaikovsky
Arena Theater presents LA Phil LIVE: Dudamel conducts Tchaikovsky on Sunday March 13 , 2011 at 2:00 PM, the second concert in a three part series featuring the LA Philharmonic led by Gustavo Dudamel, one of the most exciting conductors today.
This all-Tchaikovsky program features his three Overture-Fantasies inspired by Shakespeare plays Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and The Tempest. Interspersed between these powerful symphonic poems will be readings from the Bard's immortal works by a cast of leading actors.
Features for all three concerts include:
