West Village Chorale Winter Concert - "Alter Egos"
The West Village Chorale challenges the pre-conceptions of well-known composers. The "alter egos" of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikowsky and Copland are presented.
A special feature of this concert is the NYC premiere of the Chorale's conductor, Michael Conley's "Immortal Beloved" based on Beethoven's love letters to his "immortal beloved" and using some of his musical themes.
