When Nell Robinson decided to perform in public after a lifetime of singing alone, she never guessed it would lead her to where she is today. Backed by John Reischman & The Jaybirds, a dream team of bluegrass musicians, Nell Robinson has taken the bluegrass scene by storm, placing herself solidly in the folds of the nation's finest American roots musicians. Her country-sweet voice, innovative interpretations of classics (including Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line") and soulful songwriting have already earned her several sold-out shows at Berkeley's Freight and Salvage and Bluegrassin' In the Foothill's "Emerging Artist Award."
