Cineaste Magazine: 9/11 Investigative Documentaries
For many Americans, as well as the mainstream media, our government's account of the tragic events of 9/11/2001 has become the accepted narrative. Many documentary filmmakers, however, have carefully examined the government's evidence (or lack of same) and rejected the official story. In a film program designed for New Yorkers, excerpts from documentaries that focus on the "collapse" of the WTC Twin Towers— including Zero: An Investigation into 9/11, 9/11 Mysteries, 9/ll: Blueprint for Truth,and WTC Attack—raise many troubling questions and begin to separate the political mythology from scientific facts.
