Feminine Mystique (2/5) - Significant Others
Come hear works by Significant Others. These compositions by the oft neglected Other Sex are indeed Significant. This program features works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann and other significant women composers such as Rebecca Clark and Nadia Boulanger, culminating with Amy Beach's lush, romantic Piano Quintet. Seattle's own star violist Mara Gearman will lead our Simple Measures musicians. Other performers include Brittany Boulding and Jennifer Caine, violins, Rajan Krishnaswami, cello, and Mark Salman, piano.
