Get a Handel on Messiah
The evening's program will include a sing-along performance with organ of the choral movements in Part I of Handel's Messiah, and of course, the popular Hallelujah chorus. Solo arias and recitatives will be performed by: soprano Kaileen Miller, mezzo-soprano Lauren Groff, tenor Arie Perry and baritone Michael Beetham. The evening sing-along will also include a variety of traditional carols to set the tone for the holiday season.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the San Francisco Concert Chorale, now in its 36th season, under the baton of John Emory Bush. The San Francisco Concert Chorale is an independent chamber choir dedicated to musical performances of the highest quality. Singers are selected twice each year by audition and rehearse to a professional standard of performance.
