Arizona Derby Dames Old School Flat Track Roller Derby
Arizona Derby Dames return to their roots with a flat track roller derby bout at their original venue - The Castle Sports Club! This single header game will get the fans up close to the action just like in the old days. Maybe you'll even get a skater in your lap. See how the Dames' increased banked track skills transfer to the flat track.
It's a championship rematch! 2010 Arizona Derby Dames banked track champions vs. 2nd place (& undefeated during the 2010 regular season) Schoolyard Scrappers. But this time, it's on the flat track in the Dames' old venue with old school AZDD rules. Two 20 minute halves, 90 second jams, clock stopped between jams.
Arizona Derby Dames have not skated in a public flat track bout since November of 2009 at the 2009 Arizona State Fair. Don't miss this rare event.
$10 in advance online or at the door. All seating is general admission. Kids 12 and under are free. Doors open at 7 p.m. Bout starts at 8 p.m.
