Tucker Center Film Festival

ABOUT THE EVENT :: The Tucker Center Film Festival, presented in conjunction with the 25th annual celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD), will be held the evening of February 1, 2011 in the DQ Room at TCF Bank Stadium. The event is centered around celebrating and creating awareness for films and documentaries related to girls and women in sport and/or physical activity.

Please park in the Maroon or Gopher parking lots, they are the closest to the event entrance. You will need to pay for parking ($3.75) upon leaving.

Please enter the "Event Entrance" under Benton, next to Goldy's Locker Room store.

Doors open at 6:15pm

ABOUT THE FILM :: The Tucker Center Film Festival will feature a sneak preview of Sony's "The Mighty Macs". Set against the backdrop of the 1972 feminist movement, "The Mighty Macs" tells the inspiring true story of Immaculata College's women's basketball team and their road to winning the first national championship in women's college basketball. It stars Carla Gugino in the lead role of Cathy Rush, as the head coach, and includes a star-studded cast (Ellen Burstyn, David Boreanaz, Marley Shelton).
