Event
Introduction to music theory for singers
Come and sort out your semi quaver from your dotted crotchet, understand pitching intervals, know your sharps, flats and key signatures, and get to grips with just what makes those harmonies sound so nice.
This is a basic introduction to what all those dots mean and how to lift the music off the page - no previous experience is needed. There will be plenty of handouts and examples of well known songs to help put your learning in context.
Please bring a pencil and note pad.
The session is led by conductor and educator Hannah Brine. For more details visit www.hannahbrine.co.uk
