Klezmer Brunch at Porto Franco
Every last Sunday, starting August 29, 2010, Porto Franco Art and Records is conducting Klezmer Brunch - an event combining fun, art, food and music. Food is going to be vegetarian and vegan, featuring Ashkenazi and Sephardic traditional dishes with a Russian scent. Music will be played by The Gonifs - an ensemble of distinguished local musicians: Jeanette Lewicki (voice & accordion), Peter Jaques (clarinet), Darren Johnston (trumpet), Daniel Fabricant (bass) and, his touring schedule permitting, Aaron Kierbel (drums).
