Tern Rounders' music is like a richly varied landscape, from the rootsy terrain of Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Emmylou Harris, and Townes Van Zandt, stretching out to the California coast to a time when Gram Parsons & The Burrito Bros. flew high over L.A. and the Buffalo Springfield still roamed. What you'll hear from this Albany band is hard-charging honky-tonk shuffles, cosmic country, and vocal-harmony-driven folk rock. The Tern Rounders are: Kim Kilby (Vocals, Guitar); Harry Strole (Vocals, Guitar); Jim Ketterer (Drums, Percussion); Carl Parker (Bass); and Rick Morse (Pedal Steel, Dobro).
