Sounds of the Season
Sounds of the Season is a fun holiday concert appropriate for all ages. Playing 6 octaves of handbells and 6 octaves of handchimes with some additional instruments interspersed, Bells of the Cascades will showcase many of your favorite holiday songs as well as some not so familiar tunes.
Bells of the Cascades is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization made up of members from the greater Portland area who ring together to further the art of handbell ringing. While bells are commonly associated with Christmas, Bells of the Cascades performs throughout the year and plays a wide variety of music.
Sounds of the Season will be played twice in the Portland area, once on Saturday, December 11, at Milwaukie Presbyterian Church; and on Sunday, December 12, at Central Lutheran Church in Portland. Both concerts begin at 7:30pm. Tickets purchased will be honored at either concert.
