Director Sarah Townsend offers an intimate peek inside the sometimes charmed, sometimes heartbreaking life of comedian Eddie Izzard. From his early days as a street performer to his triumphant, sold out shows at London's Wembley Arena, Izzard has committed to comedy by committing to being himself. Home movies, performance footage and original interviews come together in this Emmy- nominated documentary to create a compelling portrait of a man who's equally comfortable riding a unicycle, dressing in drag or simply getting a laugh - or if you're lucky, all three at the same time.
