SMRD Presents Jackie Daniels Training Clinic

Southern Maryland Roller Derby is proud to present a roller derby clinic with Jackie Daniels, formerly of the Windy City Rollers, a member of Team USA, the Vagine Regime, and the Texas Rollergirls. Jackie is also known for her role in Whip It!

There are a limited number of slots available for participants at all levels, so get them while you can! Once all the slots are sold, no more will open up!

Beginner Session (9:00-11:00am)- During this 2-hour clinic, Jackie will teach you the fundamentals of roller derby from the perspective of a Team USA veteran! Learn skating technique, stopping, control skills, and more -- all designed by Jackie to help you improve your roller derby basics.
On Skates: $35 -- No contact; suitable for Fresh Meat-level skaters or vets looking to sharpen their skills*
Off-Skates: $20 -- Very limited tickets available! Perfect for coaches, trainers, and any skaters who want to bring skills back to their leagues.

Intermediate/Advanced Session (11:30am-2:30pm) - Jackie will cover drills to teach you containment blocking and how to absorb impact as an individual, how to build a rock-solid wall Windy City-style, advanced jamming techniques, and more. This is a 3-hour clinic with a world class skater!
On Skates: $55 -- All on-skates participants must be cleared for contact**
Off-Skates: $20 -- Very limited tickets available! Perfect for coaches, trainers, and any skaters who want to bring skills back to their leagues!

Off-Skates Strategy Clinic (3:00-5:00pm) - $20: Grab a seat! Let's get inside Jackie's curly head and learn the art of roller derby war. Discover the secret arts of offense and gain team-building strategies. This 2-hour clinic is ideal for both skaters and coaches!

ALL SKATERS MUST BE 18+

NO TRANSFERS OR REFUNDS.

*BEGINNER SESSION SKATERS WILL NEED: Proof of primary health insurance, shirt or helmet with your name on it, sneakers, water/water bottle, and a kick-ass attitude!

**INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED SESSION SKATERS WILL NEED: Proof of primary and WFTDA/USARS insurance, sneakers, B&W shirts with your name and/or number, water/water bottle, and a kick-ass attitude!
