The Rocking Reggae New Years Bash at the Medford Armory features two big nights of music, food, and a full beer and wine garden. The celebration begins on December 31st with Indubious, Alcyon Massive, Monk with Marko, Frankie Hernandez and loads of other artists, then continues on the 1st with Babylon Saints, Rogue Suspects featuring Jeff Pevar, with many other special guests. Plus Saturday is a kid-friendly event with Random Sound, a youth oriented band, as well as party ponies and a bounce house!

The festivities will also include a laser light show, tons of hourly prize giveaways and reduced price shuttle rides home.

Frankie Hernandez
Frankie Hernandez has been called "the Latino Stevie Wonder" by the State of Jefferson. His powerful, soulful voice, manic optimism, and catchy and eccentic songwriting have made him an Austin, Texas music scene staple, indispensable touring sideman, Los Angeles session musician, front man and band leader. He has played on stage and recorded with acts such as: Michael Franti and Spearhead, Leftover Salmon, Phish, Seal, Outlawz, Rod Stewart, internationally reknowned flamenco guitarist David Broza, David Garza, The Killer Bees, and Chris Chandler to name a few. Some Main Stage appearances: Oregon Country Fair, High Sierra Music Festival, Earthdance, Kerrville Folk Festival, Falconridge Folk Festival, and Santa Monica Earthday Festival to name a few.

Babylon Saints
The name Babylon Saints is both a contradiction in terms as well as an excellent way to disarm the potential listener of their expectations. So to simply say that the Los Angeles-based group play reggae rock, albeit extremely catchy reggae rock, would be rather deceiving. Singer Matt Gerovac, bassist Tyler Drake, and steel drummer Joseph "Panhead" Peck can offer a better set of groovy descriptions for their sound: Authentic. Soulful. Funk. Honest. Caribbean. American.
