Wheeler with special guests
Like a warm blanket you pull off a high shelf when winter comes, Wheeler recalls a simpler time of the 1990s alternative-country hayday. The efficient self-titled EP evokes Uncle Tupelo, The Jayhawks, the spirit of wanderlust and the open road with touches of longing and loss. But there's something high flying here, too. Vocalist/guitarist Josh Dibley employs a laid back confident style in his tenor complimented nicely by guitarist/vocalist Eric Goplin's harmonies.
