The PMI Honolulu, Hawaii Chapter's Monthly Meeting topic is entitled, "The PM and the BA - A Real Life Comparison"
What is a PMBA?
With the introduction of the new Business Analysis certification (PMI-PBA) from PMI, the differentiation of the roles of a project manager and the business analysis often arises. This presentation will look at the project effort from the two roles of PM and BA, and address where they overlap and where they are complimentary.
There are additional tools and techniques that the BA brings to help with the collection of requirements, as well as the verification and validation of the project objectives. The way that these can be incorporated into the project planning and monitoring and controlling processes as identified in the PMBOK Guide will be presented.
Please join us for an engaging speaker, lunch, and networking opportunities. Anyone currently involved or interested in the Project Management profession is welcome!
