Spirituals Sing-Along in Berkeley
Back by popular demand, Lynne Morrow, Music Director of Pacific Edge Voices, leads a singalong and workshop on African-American spirituals, which under Lynne's direction have become one of Pacific Edge Voices' specialties. Open to music lovers of all ages and singing abilities, this event offers a special opportunity to sing through these joyous works and learn more about their history, cultural context, and specific musical style. Everyone is welcome, and advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Sheet music will be provided to all participants.
