Bethel University Renaissance Bluegrass Band
The Renaissance Bluegrass Band has plenty to offer fans of bluegrass music - great picking, soulful vocals, high lonesome harmonies, and great song selection all melded together with drive, energy and enthusiasm. The musicianship of these young pickers is quite noticeable as the band shows imagination and taste in their selection and interpretation of bluegrass music from old songs to new and songs of faith both traditional and contemporary.
As an audition based university level curriculum, these musicians offer an energy and talent that is molding them into excellent musicians and individuals!
Headed by director Steven Mougin, a premiere guitarist of Sam Bush and Nedski and Mojo fame, this group of young musicians will bring the best in bluegrass to The Old Feed Store
Doors open at 6:00pm with great sandwiches, soups and more available! A BYO Event, and We Card Hard.
