Celebrate Thanksgiving with Voices of Musica Sacra as we honor our American heritage with a musical journey from the first Thanksgiving in 1621 to Lincoln's 1863 proclamation of an official American Thanksgiving holiday.

From Simple Gifts to Shenandoah, travel back to our pioneering musical roots with shape-note fuging tunes, hymns, spirituals, Shaker tunes, and folk melodies presented in their original versions and also in recent arrangements by Stephen Paulus, William Hawley, Stephen Main. Also featured are both sets of Aaron Copland's famous "Old American Songs."
