Handmade Puppet Dreams Volume 3 and the best of The Felt-a-thon
"Fussy Cloud Puppet Slam and The Grand Illusion are proud to present a marvelously eclectic collection of short puppet films. Heather Henson's Handmade Puppet Dreams Volume 3 and the best of The Felt-a-thon will screen at the Grand Illusion Cinema March 29 at 4pm.
The ongoing Handmade Puppet Dreams series is an award-winning collection of puppet film shorts, handpicked to showcase a spectrum of live-action puppetry styles. With the Handmade Puppet Dream series, Heather Henson has set out to introduce a new generation of puppeteers who embrace film as a medium for breathing life into their dreams.
This Presentation will also feature the best selections of Seattle's own Felt-a-thon. See the mayhem that ensued when puppeteers Rachel Jackson of Vox Fabuli and Chad Allers at Crash Boom attempted to make 12 puppet films in 24 hours on World Puppetry Day 2015! Proceeds from the live stream of this riotous exercise in sleep deprivation were donated to charitable foundations.
