Ovations: From Stage to Screen
Professionally staged under the stars at Blair's amphitheatre, amazingly talented 6th-12th graders will bring to life parts of Oliver, Hairspray, Grease, Godspell and other beloved musicals.
The full "Blair Bowl" experience includes Jazz Band performances and dinner sales before the show.
No assigned seating; tickets are good for any of the three shows. In case of rain, tickets are good for the following weekend.
Ovations is directed by Ms. Amanda Engstrom, Blair choir and drama instructor. Assistant Director is Ms. Kellen Law, also helping with staging. Choreography and other assistance is by Ms. Kelsey O'Keeffe, 2007 Blair grad and theatre professional . Professional lighting, sound, costumes and music raise the bar for this annual production, and students successfully respond to the challenge.
