A Heart's Harvest
Portland Vocal Consort seeks to celebrate our American heritage with A Heartsâ Harvest, November 21, 2010. We are passionate about preserving and promoting American music and the American choral tradition. The program will include music about America, composed primarily by Americans-this is music that captures the spectacular beauty of our land, and tells timeless stories of determination and heroism. Texts from Thomas Jefferson to Chief Joseph will be included. The programming is both sacred and secular and will provide an artistic experience for reflection and celebration as the holiday season is initiated.
