I Am Love
Tilda Swinton, in perhaps the defining performance of her career, transcends the spoken word through her crystal blue eyes and visually changing emotional temperatures. She plays Emma Recchi, a Russian married into a wealthy, aristocratic Milanese family whose wealth from the textile business is grand and palatial. They are about to have a changing of the guard that disrupts the core of the family. Emma is about to change as well from a dutiful, almost invisible wife/mother to a passionate, sensuous woman with her own needs and desires.
