THE Seaside Siren Roller Girls are delighted to host the third leg of the UKRDA British Championship Tier 2 tournament in Southend Essex, bringing a bit of roller derby history to the town.
On Saturday, March 21st, we invite you all to our NEW venue at the seaside to watch our All-Stars take on our old track friends Royal Windsor Roller Girls. But that's not all, it's double trouble as our last victorious opponents Brighton Rockers Roller Derby take on the the women of Bristol Roller Derby as part of the third leg of the first ever UKRDA British Championships Tier 2 National South.
It has been a ferocious tournament so far, with teams bringing everything they have to the track to emerge winners and securing themselves a safe place in the division.
The T2 UKRDA National South consists of six teams, including Brighton Rockers Roller Derby, Bristol Roller Derby, London Rockin' Rollers, Portsmouth Roller Wenches, Royal Windsor Roller Girls and ourselves.
The British Championships is Europe's biggest women's and men's flat track tournament which nationally includes 72 teams, and will accumulate to a playoff to see which team emerges as the British Champions of 2015. It is the first time such a large scale national tournament has been organised, making history for European Roller Derby. Doors open at 1pm, with the first whistle being blown at 1.30pm so be ready to take your seats!

Adult - £10 in advance/ £12 on the door
Students - £8 in advance/ £10 on the door (You MUST have a valid NUS Card/ Student ID with you in order to gain entry on this ticket)

And as well as the two games, we will have full merchandise stalls and local businesses offering a variety of fun stuff available for you to buy!
