Celebrate the music of Count Basie with the Count Basie Tribute Orchestra, directed by Angela Wellman with special guest and sitting in for the Count, the Jazz Prof himself, Bill Bell-piano and Legendary Bassist & Basie alum, John Heard.
Plus, at 12:30pm, enjoy a Pre-concert conversation with Orrin Keepnews, founder of legendary jazz recording labels, Milestones Records and Riverside Records.
