We all think grunge cornered the music market in Seattle. But Seattle had a rich musical history that existed long before the early '90s--one that has nothing to do with wearing flannel and feeling angst. This doc explores Seattle's long-lost, but rich and diverse, soul and funk scene of the '60s and '70s, with interviews with Quincy Jones, Sir Mix-A-Lot, and others, as well as those little-known funk stars that still live among us today.
