This years annual Circle Science brings together all styles of street dance under one roof for a day of competitions, performances and most importantly, open circles.

With a brand new home at the newly renovated Bossanova Ballroom, Circle Science will showcase the best in popping, locking, breakin', urban choreography, voguing, housing, waacking, krumping, and club-styles (jerkin etc.).

This year, the event features:
► 2 on 2 breakin' battles for a chance to advance to The Takeover National Championships in Seattle, WA for $1200.00 (http://bit.ly/takeoverseattle) and to battle against the winners of the Seattle Takeover regional at the Reign concert in Portland for an additional $400.00.
► 2 on 2 all-styles battles for $100 cash, 2 pieces from Sticks & Stones (www.yeahwewood.com) valued at $250 and goodies from Capital Brand (www.capitalbrand.wordpress.com)
► Performances by Remix, LDT, Moveo & Push Jones
► Breakin' grudge matches between Floor Invaders & New Birth (two up and coming b-boy crews from PDX) and Mightee Moves & M-PO (two veteran b-boys from PDX and TX)

And introducing for the first time:
► Open format circles; previously dominated by b-boy culture at these types of events, Circle Science will have dancers across all disciplines getting down in open circles to house music, hip-hop, funk, soul, pop, club, 80s, 90s, electro, house, Afrobeat, Latin and more.
