Passionate Story l Monte Piano Trio @ First Lutheran Church April 9th at 7:30
On April 9th, the hall of First Lutheran church will be filled with intense, passionate music. Monte Piano Trio will present an exhilarating program featuring trios by Shostakovich and Brahms as well as seldom heard trios by George Enescu.
Founded in 2008 at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt, The Monte Piano Trio have performed at prestigious music halls all across the globe. Hailed by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Frankfurt General Newspaper) as having "a noble sound quality, high sensitivity and great energy", the trio has won international awards including first prize at the "Josef Mirabent the Magrans" competition in Spain, the European Karlsruhe competition as well as Folkwang-Preis.
