QUEER AS FUNK! :: Vancouver Pride 2015

Queer As Funk is back to kick-off Vancouver Pride! Get your dance on to all of your favourite tunes, as played by East Van's own ten piece Funk/Soul/Motown powerhouse band. Last year this show sold out months in advance, so we've moved over to The Imperial. A 6000 square foot stylish and modern room, The Imperial has an incredible sound and lighting system. Be prepared to be dazzled.

Totally unique in the history of Vancouver's LGBTQ community, Queer as Funk brings together ten of the city's hottest musicians in an explosive, high-energy dance band. With repertoire ranging from beloved funk, soul and motown classics of the 60's and 70's (Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder) to contemporary favourites (Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, Mayer Hawthorne), Queer as Funk is also the sharpest-dressed suit-and-tie band in town. Queer as Funk have played to consistently sold-out audiences since their inception in early 2013.
