Commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of German Re-Unification
The Valley Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Michael H. Arshagouni presents a concert commemorating the re-unification of Germany through the music of significant German composers from the 18th and 19th centuries. Featured works include Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Brahms' Schicksalslied and Schumann's Symphony No.4 in d minor, Op.120. Works by JS Bach, Mendelssohn and Telemann are also programmed. Joining the VSO are the LAVC Philarmonic Choir under the direction of Dr. Arshagouni and the San Fernando Valley Master Chorale under the direction of Terry Danne.
