Raw Earth and Ngoma in Motion!

Raw Earth, with special guests Ngoma in Motion! The Casbah-ssippi will be in the house with Baghdad blues and much more. Raw Earth offers listeners lap- slide blues with a supporting cast of hand drums. The pulse of the Serengeti will blend with some classic Celtic and good old roots music to showcase the rich heritage of our American melting pot. Ngoma In Motion (NIM) blends the sounds of old world traditions that can only be found at the confluence of the Congo and our own Mississippi Valley. Their creative blend of blues chanting and spoken word are presented against a backdrop of funk, afro-Cuban and west African percussion and to the world. NIM presents a heritage that embraces our circle of life and the sounds we share and enjoy.
