Event
Old Masters, Young Prodigies; Oak; SF Choral Artists
Our 30th Anniversary inaugural "SFCA+1" concert! We are joined by internationally renowned jazz/classical violinist, Mads Tolling, and celebrate young musical prodigies who never had the chance to become old masters: Felix & Fanny Mendelssohn, Gershwin, Mozart, Gideon Klein, Schubert, Gibbons, Moses Hogan, Distler, Wolf, Boulanger, and Purcell. Also featuring new works from Composers-in- and Not-in-Residence, Daniel Afonso and Wayne Eastwood, SFCA's 2015 Composers Invitational call for scores, and the under-30 winners of our New Voices Project for young composers.
