TEACHERS - Professional Development
Teachers explore ways to incorporate inquiry-based art, science, math and technology components into their classroom learning through real-world authentic experiences. Teachers become a community of learners, strengthening their relationships not only with their co-workers but with the learning experience of their students. Teachers learn to use new skills and tap into local resources that help increase putting theory into practice. Administrators can opt to hold this workshop in their school or at the Wave Hill. Note: Sign up for Wave Hill's Kerlin Institute for Teaching and Learning, which offers P-credits. Registration is available through NYC After-School Professional Development Program (ASPDP). Note: Professional Development Workshops must be booked 2 weeks in advance.
