SINGLE-SESSION PROGRAM - Woodland Wonders: A Living Laboratory (K-5th grades)
Dive into the wonders of nature to discover the interdependent elements of an ecosystem from abiotics and producers to consumers and decomposers. As understanding of these concepts deepens, students achieve a greater appreciation of humankind and our world. After making their own observations and spending time interpreting the work of several contemporary environmental artists, students create art that reflects their newfound understanding of the systems that govern life cycles.
