PCS Lafayette: Flutes and Strings!
Join us for flutes and strings! We begin with a tender Mahler work for strings and harp and end with Tchaikovsky's popular "Nutcracker for strings". In the middle PCS brings together Hollywood's Pied Piper of flutists Sheridon Stokes and our own principal master flutist Janet Ketchum in three gems for flute and orchestral! Each of these works brings out the incredible variety of flavors and textures of the flutes: Baroque, Romantic, and the world premiere of Caliendo's hot dace numbers.
