Stillness, Divide My Dream: Choral Music of William Hawley
The 2010-2011 concert season opens with the music of one of America's great choral composers, William Hawley. Choral Arts will perform many of Hawley's best-loved works for unaccompanied chorus and will present the world premiere of "O Remember," a cycle of songs for chorus, flute, viola and harp based on texts by Louise Bogan. William Hawley will be in attendance for these performances and will participate in an informal dialogue with the audience following each program.
