Kay Olan and Dennis Yerry
Kay Olan is a Mohawk storyteller who passes along her people's values and understanding of the world through stories that captivate audiences of all ages. Though delightfully engaging, Kay's stories are much more than entertaiment. They are important ways by which the people can express joy and gratitude for having been given the gifts of life and all of the things that help to sustain life. Together with Iroquois singer, musician and composer Dennis Yerry on guitar, Kay and Dennis share Native American song and storytelling in the hope of building bridges of mutual understanding and respect.
